Greekly AI Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Greekly LLC, a California limited liability company located at 2801 N Street STE N, Sacramento, CA 95816 ("Greekly," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Greekly AI mobile application, the greekly.ai website, and related services (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Information you give us: your email address when you join the waitlist or create an account; the options-experience level, alert preferences, and filters you choose in the app; and anything you send us by email.
Information collected automatically: a device push-notification token so we can deliver alerts you asked for; basic technical information such as app version, device model, operating system version, and crash or error reports; and records of the alerts you viewed and the paper-simulator actions you took inside the app, so the app can show you your own history.
Payment information: subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment and we never receive or store your card number. We receive a transaction identifier and subscription status from Apple so we can provide the features you paid for.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or health data, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and operate the Service, including delivering alerts and showing your history; to manage accounts, subscriptions, and the waitlist; to respond to support requests; to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse; to understand how the Service is used and improve it; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service and that are bound to use it only for that purpose: Google (Firebase) for authentication, database, and push delivery; Apple for app distribution, payments, and notifications; Cloudflare for hosting the website; and Railway for hosting our server. We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Greekly, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization, in which case this policy continues to apply to the transferred information.
4. Data retention and deletion
We keep account information while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app under Settings, which removes your account and the personal information associated with it; any remaining copies in our systems are deleted within 30 days, except where we must keep records to comply with law or resolve disputes. Waitlist emails are kept until the launch notice is sent and then for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to remove yours. You can also request deletion by emailing customersupport@greekly.ai.
5. Your choices
Notifications: you can turn push notifications on or off in the app and in your device settings. Subscriptions: manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. Email: reply to any message from us to opt out of non-essential email. Do Not Track: the Service does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals because it does not track users across third-party sites.
6. California residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share, to request deletion of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email customersupport@greekly.ai from the address on your account; we will verify your identity before responding.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended only for adults 18 and older. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
